WOW! A new vacuum cleaner? We are always happy to receive donations of items we can use. It was a delight to see the box with a new vacuum cleaner sitting on the office desk; maybe for use for a certain building, or another one, or, or…?? Ahmed asked me to look INTO the box…no vacuum cleaner, no other machinery or kitchen stuff or anything like that. For a moment I shrunk from what I saw. In the box I counted 4 little mixed puppies. They were so beautiful, but they were hungry, thirsty and very much alive. They were put in the box, dumped in a building under construction and the workers found the box with the little ones in it.
How grateful we are that these tough looking workers were had such warm hearts and were not ashamed at all to show their sensitivity by bringing the 4 little ones to our shelter.
The puppies are doing well and are in good shape, having a lot of fun with each other. When the weather is nice they go outside so they can enjoy the sun, the wind and at the same time they get socialized because of all the petting and talking they get from all the Scooby people present. One of them is already adopted and lives with a nice family in Spain. A couple of weeks later some of us came back from Medina where we did our grocery shopping and when we arrived at Scooby we found 3 mixed puppies in the garden where our cats have their residences. No one knew who they were, where they came from, there was no owner or no note, just 3 beautiful and social lads playing around and having fun.
So we at the moment we have plenty of puppies at the shelter and if you have even been around puppies you know that they are a lot of work and that they require a lot of care. One lucky one is already adopted, so please help us care for the ones that are still looking for a home. Without you and your support we wouldn't exist and we wouldn't be able to save animals that arrive in this state. Thank you. |
